Forest Resort

Tucked into the undulating hills of Tà Nung, Panorama Dalat is a retreat that merges architecture with landscape in a poetic dialogue. Inspired by the principles of Tropical Geometrism, the design leverages pure geometries-clean lines, cubic volumes, and a restrained material palette-to establish a contemporary presence that coexists gracefully with nature. The retreat is intentionally positioned along the natural contours of the land, allowing the topography to guide the architectural composition. This minimal intervention approach respects the integrity of the site, resulting in a built environment that feels as though it has always belonged.

The project emphasizes openness, fluidity, and environmental responsiveness. Expansive glazed façades and cantilevered terraces frame sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, creating dynamic visual connections with the landscape. Layered volumes and elevated platforms generate a sense of lightness and continuity as the architecture steps with the terrain. Material honesty defines the character of the retreat, with local stone, exposed concrete, and warm timber used in their raw states to ensure both aesthetic harmony and long-term durability. Passive cooling strategies such as cross-ventilation, deep roof overhangs, and shaded courtyards contribute to a comfortable and sustainable living environment.

More than a resort, Panorama Dalat is envisioned as an immersive experience that blends interior and exterior space into one fluid journey. Transparent enclosures, open-air walkways, and generous terraces blur the boundaries between architecture and nature. The surrounding landscape is preserved and enhanced through the use of native vegetation, creating a seamless transition between built form and the environment. This retreat invites guests to slow down, connect with the elements, and embrace the raw beauty of the Central Highlands in a setting that balances serenity with sophistication.
