Hotels & resorts
StudioDuo designs hotels and resorts in Vietnam and abroad, with the architecture and the interiors under one roof. From our studios in Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Madrid we have designed boutique hotels, mountain and coastal resorts, and the new 700-villa phase of Vega City in Nha Trang.
One team, from the site plan to the bedside lamp
A hotel is judged in the first minute and remembered for the small things. We design the building, the landscape, the interiors and the lighting together, so the arrival, the lobby, the rooms and the restaurant read as one place. For Chavana Boutique Hotel in Da Nang we carried architecture, interiors, lighting and landscape from the first sketch to completion.
Built for the climate
Most of our resorts sit in landscape: the pine hills of Da Lat, a mountain bay near Vinh, the coast at Nha Trang. Deep eaves, cross ventilation, shaded terraces and local materials keep guests comfortable, keep running costs down and let the setting do most of the work.
Designed with the operator
We work to the operator’s brand standards and to the numbers of the business: the room mix, the back of house, the service routes, the restaurants and bars that have to earn their place. Owners receive drawings their contractors can price and build.

Questions
Do you design both the architecture and the interiors?
Yes. StudioDuo is an architecture and interior design studio, and we also design the lighting and the landscape. We can take on a whole hotel, or the interiors alone, as for the 120-room Arty Hotel in Hanoi.
Where do you work?
Across Vietnam, from Hanoi to Phu Quoc, and abroad. Our studios are in Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Madrid.
When should we bring you in?
As early as possible, ideally while the site and the brief are still open. The first decisions on layout, orientation and room count shape the guest experience more than any finish.
