Gemalink Office Vung Tau
As one of Vietnam's leading shipping ports, Gemalink required a workspace that reflects the dynamic nature of port operations while fostering seamless communication and interaction. Our design embraces an open-plan concept, ensuring fluid connectivity among teams, all oriented towards the central screens displaying real-time port activities. The layout is carefully crafted with minimal partitions to maintain direct visual access to operational screens, ensuring teams are always updated on port activities as they unfold.
The use of repurposed materials, such as steel from shipping containers and OSB wood from container boxes, reinforces the industrial character of the space while promoting sustainability. These materials not only contribute to the raw, functional aesthetic of the office but also highlight the project’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The combination of exposed structural elements and modern interior details creates a workspace that is both efficient and visually striking, supporting the fast-paced nature of port operations.
Adjacent to the office, the outdoor cantine provides a shaded, open-air retreat for workers, offering a refreshing contrast to the high-energy work environment. Constructed from repurposed shipping containers and surrounded by lush greenery, this space serves as a relaxed and comfortable escape. The cantine provides natural shading through the trees, creating an inviting and tranquil environment for workers to recharge, fostering a balanced and productive work atmosphere.
