Clay Saigon is a Mediterranean restaurant in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, located at the end of a quiet alley. This hidden gem offers vibrant colors, locally sourced materials, lush landscapes, and stunning views of the Saigon River, creating an immersive experience where guests can enjoy, share, and celebrate together.

The design concept, dubbed “Spicy Mediterranean,” blends modern Mediterranean aesthetics with local handcrafts and natural materials. Stucco and wood reflect the Mediterranean essence, while saturated reds, bamboo crafts, and lush greenery bring in a Vietnamese touch. This fusion of styles complements the unique blend of Mediterranean and Vietnamese flavors in the cuisine, establishing an ambiance that merges both cultures.

The intimate entrance, surrounded by landscape elements, guides guests toward a striking arrival. The main dining area overlooks the river, with steps leading down to ensure every guest enjoys the view. The long central bar and wine cellar serve as the focal point of the space. The sculptural staircase leads to an open rooftop offering breathtaking sunset views over the Saigon River. The rooftop has no balustrade, instead featuring a low bench around the floor and a 1.5-meter landscape buffer for both protection and beauty. The architecture emulates the cubic shapes of Mediterranean homes, creating a strong and captivating presence.
