Tucked along the banks of the Saigon River, Baieta Saigon is a refined culinary destination inspired by the soul of the French Riviera. Named after the Provençal word for “little kiss,” the restaurant offers an elevated Niçoise dining experience with sweeping views of the water and Ho Chi Minh City’s skyline. The architectural concept is rooted in Mediterranean coastal living, blending elegance and informality in equal measure. From its location to its layout, Baieta is designed as a sensorial escape, a seamless interplay of light, breeze, and flavor.

The architecture draws from the vernacular of southern Europe, with white stucco facades and terracotta rooflines that evoke the charm of Nice and Liguria. Terracotta flooring offers an earthy texture underfoot, while arched doorways and vaulted ceilings introduce softness and rhythm to the spatial experience. Interior finishes lean into natural materials such as plaster, reclaimed timber, and handwoven textures to build a tactile narrative of timeless hospitality. Mediterranean-style landscaping surrounds the structure, reinforcing the blurred boundary between architecture and nature. This garden-like setting enhances the calm, inviting atmosphere while framing a series of shaded outdoor dining zones.

Baieta’s interiors are intentionally porous, with large archways and breezy terraces connecting the indoors to the river’s edge. The dining areas are organized around visual and physical openness, encouraging fluid movement and social interaction. Built-in alcoves, curved ceiling niches, and handmade ceramic sconces enrich the ambiance with intimate lighting and warm tones. Pergolas constructed with reclaimed beams define the outdoor spaces, adding a layer of rustic authenticity that will patina gracefully over time. Every architectural and interior gesture at Baieta reinforces a design language of relaxed refinement where Southern charm meets Vietnamese vitality.
