Pubblico Pizza
Located in the lively heart of District 1, Pubblico is a contemporary self-service restaurant where guests can enjoy slices of pizza and focaccia, along with a glass of wine, all within a playful visual narrative. The design is built around a striking duality in the space’s color palette: a rich terracotta tone and a crisp off-white, which divide the small interior into two contrasting yet complementary zones. This clever use of color and materials helps create a captivating visual story while maintaining a sense of balance and harmony throughout the space.
The interior finishes have been carefully selected to enhance the thematic division between the two zones. Stucco walls, hand-glazed tiles, and painted surfaces have all been color-matched to reinforce the spatial separation. On one side, the deep terracotta hues evoke the warmth of a wood-fired oven and the Mediterranean sun, inviting guests into an intimate and cozy atmosphere. On the other side, the off-white tones offer a light and airy counterpoint, ensuring that the space feels bright and open despite its compact size.
The design also incorporates functional and aesthetic elements to create a dynamic and welcoming environment. The ceiling, with its organic wave-like shapes, introduces a sculptural quality that contrasts with the straight lines of the walls, creating a sense of fluidity and movement. Overall, Pubblico offers a full sensory experience through the clever use of color, form, and materials, making this space a distinctive and inviting place that embraces the vitality of Saigon.
