Tinto Nikkei Cuisine is a unique dining concept that brings the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors to the heart of Saigon. The design of the space reflects this cultural blend, creating an environment that is both clean and minimalistic with vibrant, colorful accents. The primary architectural elements are deeply rooted in the cultures they represent: the Japanese Tana shelves and the stucco finishes found in Peruvian villages. These two distinct features anchor the space, providing a seamless connection between the food and the environment, and offering guests a sensory experience that mirrors the fusion of the two culinary traditions.

The identity of the cuisine at Tinto plays a significant role in shaping the design. The bold use of red lighting evokes the vibrant hues of the Andes Mountain range, which are reflected in the intense colors found in the restaurant's atmosphere. Semi-translucent materials, inspired by Japanese Shoji sliding doors, are strategically incorporated to enhance the cultural narrative. These design elements contribute to an ambiance that not only celebrates the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian culture but also invites guests to immerse themselves in an experience that goes beyond just the meal.

The layout of the space has been thoughtfully crafted to facilitate both interaction and intimacy. The large front windows open up to the street, creating a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere that fosters a connection between guests and passersby. The cantilevered design of the windows protects diners from the rain, offering a cozy and comfortable dining spot. Inside, the space is divided into two distinct areas: a central zone for lively conversations and high-energy interactions, and a more serene dining area perfect for quiet family dinners. The facade, standing tall among the low-rise buildings around it, serves as a bold statement that invites curiosity and draws people in, ensuring that Tinto is not just a restaurant but a destination full of energy and joy.
