Routine Fashion Store SVH

In 2021, StudioDuo partnered with Routine, one of Vietnam’s most recognizable fashion brands, to craft a concept store that embodies the essence of the brand: simplicity, comfort, and timelessness. Located in the vibrant core of Ho Chi Minh City, the project reimagines a compact site into a fluid and immersive retail environment that invites exploration and connection.

The design language draws inspiration from Routine’s clean and contemporary style with soft sweeping curves introduced to break away from rigid retail norms. These gentle lines carry through the walls and display fixtures guiding circulation and offering a continuous visual rhythm. Traditional Vietnamese ventilation bricks are reinterpreted here as both functional and aesthetic devices filtering light and air while adding texture and depth. Combined with polished concrete flooring the material palette balances industrial rawness with refined calm creating a tactile and understated backdrop that lets the garments take center stage.

Lighting plays a key role in enhancing the dialogue between form and material gently spotlighting the collections while maintaining a serene and confident ambiance throughout. Every architectural element from spatial planning to surface treatment has been thoughtfully curated to reflect Routine’s urban but subtle identity. More than just a retail outlet this concept store stands as a physical extension of the brand’s philosophy where fashion is framed by architecture and simplicity becomes a sensory experience.
