ARTURO MORENO

Architecture as the wall between the inside and the outside becomes the spatial record of this resolution and its drama. And by recognizing the difference between the inside and the outside, architecture opens the door once again to an urbanistic point of view.

Arturo is a Spanish architect and interior designer that came to Asia charmed by the great tropical modernist masters of the 20th century and the new architectural and interior style that flourished in South East Asia. He graduated in his master’s in architecture at the University of Navarra and completed an exclusive master in design, imparted by the Pritzker price award-winning architect, Rafael Moneo.

During his time in MIA Design Studio and DesignLab, he had the chance to collaborate and learn from the best practices in Vietnam. After working with a multitude of clients, operators and consultants, he decided to bring his ideas and inspiration to the table and co-founded StudioDuo.

SARAH NGUYEN

Sarah is a Creative Director with more than 17 years of experience in Southeast Asia. Graduated with a bachelor degree in fashion and a master's degree in art from Paris, she took an internship at Christian Dior and worked at Chanel and BNF before arriving in Vietnam, where she’s collaborated with magazines such as Elle Decoration Vietnam, Dep, Design Anthology, Architectural Digest Germany, and Elle Decor USA as interior stylist.

Sarah was the Editor in Chief for Citizen K Vietnam magazine from 2015 to 2017, and Creative Director for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam from 2017 to 2019.

Singular and daring, her creative vision celebrates diversity, originality, and cultures through arresting visuals that exude quiet confidence and poetic eloquence. From fashion campaigns, interior catalogues, to editorial assignments, she always finds a story to tell and brings her signature artistry to the picture.
